Applications in various Trades Apprenticeship Training for the Session commencing from April 2014. The training is likely to be imparted in the following trades:

Educational Qualification
2. Matriculation/ Madhyamik / ITI  passed or its equivalent for post under S. No. 1.
3. 10+2 Standard i.e. Higher Secondary/ Intermediate Passed with Physics & Chemistry as subjects or its equivalent for post under S. No. 2.
4. ITI Passed in COPA Trade of Computer and 10+2 Standard i.e. Higher Secondary/ Intermediate Passed for post under S. No. 3.
5. ITI Passed in Mechanic Machine Tools Maintenance Trade and 10+2 Standard i.e. Higher Secondary/ Intermediate Passed with Physics & Chemistry as subjects or its equivalent for post under S. No. 4.
6. ITI Passed in Electrician Trade and 10th Class under 10+2 System with Science or equivalent for post under       S. No. 5.
Age Limit & Relaxation 
Not less than 14 (Fourteen) Years of age as on 01.04.2014.
Pay Scale/ Emoluments/ Stipend 
During the First Year of Training the candidate will get Stipend of Rs. 2,100/- Per Month. During Second Year of Training the Stipend will be of Rs. 2,400/- Per Month. During Second Year of Training the Stipend will be of Rs. 2,800/- Per Month and During Second Year of Training the Stipend will be of Rs. 3,100/- Per Month.

Interested candidates may send their applications should be made in plain paper neatly typed in English or Hindi as given  in the prescribed format along with the relevant testimonials/ certificates of age, qualification, experience (if any)  etc. and to reach at the Office of the Manager, Govt. of India Press, Santragachi, Howrah - 711 112 on or before 18 March 2014 by 03:00 P.M.
8. Applications must be sent through Speed Post or Registered Post with A/ D or dropped in the box kept in the above mentioned Press premises. No other mode will be entertained.
9. One recent passport size photograph should be pasted on the space provided in the Application Form.
10. The envelope containing the application must be super scribed in bold letters as “APPLICATION FOR THE POST OF _____________________”.
Selection Procedure                                                                                 
The short listed candidates will be selected on the basis of performance in Written Test/ Trade Test/ Practical/ Skill Test/ Interviews, which might be conducted by the administration.
